I always find this lipstick a part of their permanent range and best sellers along with MAC Ruby Woo. I have already done a review on MAC Ruby Woo earlier.
Now it’s time for MAC Diva review. This lipstick too is a part of its mini lipstick version since it too earned cult status because of its popularity. Without further ado let us dive into the MAC Diva review and its swatches.

MAC Diva lipstick comes in a decent black colored bullet case which is MAC’s signature packaging with its branding on the cap. It is travel-friendly so you can carry it around in your handbag and keep giving touch up to your lips as and when required.
Shelf Life:
MAC Diva Lipstick is available in two sizes (3gm and 1.8gm).
- MAC Diva Lipstick 3 gm maximum shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacturing.
- Mini MAC Diva Lipstick 1.8gm maximum shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacturing.
My Experience With MAC Diva Matte Lipstick:
Okay, so no points for guessing! I absolutely love MAC lipsticks so this is no exception. This is an amazing and immensely popular lipstick, it has an intense reddish-burgundy shade. This lipstick has a matte finish although it will not highlight the flakiness of lips which is the best part of it and I too like this about it the most.
MAC Diva matte lipstick is highly pigmented, just one to two strokes are enough to provide full coverage. It glides very smoothly on the lips.
You can skip lip balm beneath it as it does not accentuate the texture of lips however I always recommend using lip balm beneath any lipstick. Almost every skin tone can pull this shade well.
It has good staying power and can last up to 6 hours. It smudges a bit as this is not an extremely matte lipstick and transfers a bit while eating or drinking. To be on the safer side, keep this lipstick in your handbag you may require a touch-up after eating. This lipstick has MAC’s typical vanilla fragrance to it which is not at all an overpowering fragrance.
This is how MAC Diva shade looks on me. It is more of a maroonish shade. This lipstick shade can instantly lift up your mood.
You do look like a Diva by wearing this shade. You can wear this bold shade with minimal makeup and still rock with your looks.
This is best suitable for parties, weddings, evening look, etc. where you can slay with this stunning shade. I must say that this is quite a bold and daring shade but aren’t Diva’s supposed to be bold and daring? This lipstick stands true to its name.
